Walmart Names New Vice President of Beauty

Vinima Shekhar will succeed Creighton Kiper, who was named senior VP of Walmart’s home category.

Walmart has appointed Vinima Shekhar as the new Vice President of Beauty. She takes over for Creighton Kiper, who has been promoted to Vice President of the home division.

Shekhar has worked at Walmart since 2018, starting in e-commerce. While in that position she led a holiday program for consumables, which was a huge success.

Most recently, Shekhar served as VP of wellness.

In the past, Shekhar has helped improve profits and sales within the wellness and e-commerce divisions.

Walmart has recently been modernizing its beauty segment by partnering with Space NK. The retailer has also launched a virtual makeup try-on experience with Perfect Corp.
